Message from the USANZ 2023 ASM Convenor
On behalf of the organising committee, I would like to invite you to the USANZ 2023 ASM to be held in Melbourne from 25-28 February.
Janelle Brennan (2023 ASM Scientific Committee Chair) and the ANZUNS Meeting Convenors (Marc Diocera and Kath Schubach) look forward to presenting an outstanding educational program in one of the most iconic cities in Australia. Melbourne is one of the most liveable cities in the world and has so much to offer to all visitors, international and local alike.
Our scientific program will feature world leading international and local experts from the US, UK, Netherland, Germany and Canada, and of course, Australia and New Zealand. Over the course of the ASM, our expert speakers will debate many controversial issues, showcase the latest research and share techniques and tips for best practice.
One of the highlights of the 2023 ASM will be the Harry Harris Oration, dedicated to the memory of all those who were lost in the Christchurch earthquake in 2011, and to the people of Christchurch and New Zealand. The four inaugural Christchurch Medallists will together deliver the Harry Harris Oration, transporting us back to the events of that fateful day, and reflecting on what it means today. I encourage everyone to attend this historic session.
The Meeting will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the heart of Melbourne CBD, in close proximity to cultural points of interest, great restaurants, and of course, the best coffee in Australia.
I look forward to seeing you in Melbourne in February 2023.
Professor Declan Murphy
Convenor, USANZ 2023 ASM
