Looking to the future

On behalf of the organising committee, I invite you to join us for the 26th ANZUNS annual meeting. This three-day education event aims to bring together like-minded urology nurses from across Australia and New Zealand, who share a passion for providing quality, evidenced-based urological nursing care. ANZUNS annual meeting has a rich history of providing exceptional professional development opportunities through workshops, scientific program and guest speakers. This meeting will be no exception.

As we look to the future after the most challenging of times in healthcare, we recognise the importance of collaborating, networking and supporting one another. This meeting is the ideal opportunity to share knowledge, reconnect, support and reflect on how we can improve to overcome adversity into the future together.

Urological nursing across Australia and New Zealand has many varied and complex settings which offer up numerous challenges to providing quality care. Consider showcasing how you and /or your team have overcome those challenges or completed research to improve the care you provide, by submitting an abstract for oral or poster presentation. If you need guidance, please don’t hesitate to talk to your local Urological Nurses Society.

As in previous years, we continue our strong tradition of collaborating with our USANZ colleagues. We will again join our medical colleagues in the combined plenary sessions, workshops and the unique opportunity to learn from our international expert guest speakers.

The ANZUNS meeting would not be complete without our social program, where you are welcome to enjoy forging new relationships or reconnecting with old acquaintances.

This ANZUNS annual meeting will be packed and varied to ensure something for everyone from novice to Nurse Practitioner.

We look forward to you joining us in one of the most iconic locations in Australia, to enjoy all that the Gold Coast has to offer.
